Tufting Workshop- Tufting Childlike Art with Crude Things
Join me for a fun and creative 2 day tufting workshop where you will create art in a playful carefree childlike way! Mon Oct 5th and Tuesday 6th 10 am to 6 pm. In this hands-on event, you will learn the art of tufting and create their very own 2ft masterpiece to take home. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process, teaching different techniques along the way. This is a great opportunity to unleash your creativity and explore their artistic side in a supportive and encouraging environment. Don't miss out on this exciting workshop! New Orleans Location.
In this 2 day workshop, we will start off by freeing our minds to create fun playful childlike sketches. I will explain the different types of tufting gun machines, demonstrate both the loop and shag pile machines. You will learn all about the different supplies to use- yarns, backing fabrics, tools, wood frames to work from, and adhesive glues. I will also explain and show you how to turn your art into rugs, wall hangings, or 3-d pieces like pillows/chair cushions. The art piece you will be making in the 2 day class will be 2ft in size. I will supply everything you need for this class. The class is $400 plus $75 for supplies. Only 2 students at a time for a great one on one class.
